I just was talking to my friend Dan on the phone. He mentioned that he had recently had sex with a woman in an open marriage.
“Show me her picture!” I said.
She was beautiful, but that wasn’t what caught my attention. She looked familiar. Like I had seen a picture of her before.
“What does her husband look like?” I asked. He sent me a picture of him.
And my jaw dropped.
I had slept with this dude a couple months before. I knew he was in an open marriage and it was totally cool, BUT I HAD SLEPT WITH THIS DUDE.
After Dan and I picked our jaws up off the floor, he asked if I wanted to have a threesome with her.
“Duh,” I said. ”I hope he walks in on us.”
I had a heart then,

This is something I need to accept: I CAN’T GO OFF MY MEDICATION.
Some people can be fine without medication. I am not one of those people. Because when I go off the medication, my symptoms return.
I want to believe I can function without it. Actually, I shouldn’t say this, because it’s true: I can function without it.
I’m just not happy.
